The Martyn Phillips, G3RFX Award

This award is in memory of Martyn Phillips, G3RFX who was a long time CDXC member, served on its Committee for over a decade and edited the CDXC Digest from 2003 until becoming a SK in 2014. The award will be for the year’s best contribution to the CDXC Digest.

Eligibility

All articles published in the CDXC Digest in a twelve month period are eligible, including regular features and articles from non-members.

Timing

The qualifying twelve month period includes all Digests starting with the summer (August) edition and ending with the following spring (May) edition. The award will be announced in the summer Digest.

Criteria

The award criteria will be decided from time to time by the judges but will include originality and interest to the DX and Contesting communities served by CDXC.

Judges

Judging will be undertaken by the CDXC Committee in place at the time of publication of the spring Digest each year. The Committee may, entirely at its own discretion, ask other members or non-members to assist in this task. The Committee’s decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered in to.

Award

The award will take the form of a framed certificate.
