  • The CDXC stand was the first to be set up in the DX Plaza. Early on Thursday afternoon.
  • Chris G4FZN, Derek G4XEE, and Pauline G8HQW. All set up!
  • Emil, DL8JJ, who operated with Nobby, G0VJG, from Rockall visited the club stand.
  • Don, G3XTT, welcomes well-known DXer Gene, K5GS. Gene is co-leader of the January 2024 Clipperton Island DXpedition. CDXC have agreed to support this DXpedition to the tune of £1000.
  • Jacek, SP5EAQ, is planning a DXpedition to Chatham Islands starting 20th October 2023.
  • FIVE members of the Bouvet Island DXpedition on the CDXC club stand! L-R, Cezar VE3LYC, Erwann LB1QI, Gjermund LB5GI, Ken LA7GIA, and Axel DL6KVA.
  • Thierry F6CUK, who activated Crozet Island with FT8WW at the start of the year.
  • Chris, G4FZN, was really pleased to receive a hand-written QSL card confirming Crozet Island from Thierry himself. Thanks!!
  • Jacky F2CW/ZL3CW, leader for the Clipperton Island DXpedition with some DL friends at the CDXC stand.
  • Gerard, F6EEQ, who will be part of the Marquesses DXpedition came to the stand to thank us for our advance sponsorship. It looks like this can go at last ahead - in November this year (2023).
  • Club member, Jamie, M0SDV and some friends are planning a DXpedition to Guyana (8R) next year.
  • At last! Swains is ON - from 4th October. Four members of the W8S team came to say "thanks" for the advance sponsorship of £850.
  • Club President, Don G3XTT, being interwieved by Martin Butler, M1MRB, for the ICQ podcast.
  • Werner DJ9KH with Derek G4XEE on the stand. Werner was a member of the successful 2022 DXpedition to Papua, New Guinea. CDXC sponsored the team £250.
  • Derek G4XEE with Perseverance DX Group members, Nodir EY8MM and Allan EA3HSO - who are will activate TX5S (Clipperton Island) next year. At the right, club member, David Aslin G3WGN who isn't going!
  • Our CDXC President, Don G3XTT receives a gift from the President of the other CDXC - and even though it is only 9.30 in the morning decides to open it!
  • Chris G4FZN pops over to chat with Graham Somerville from BHI. CDXC is grateful to BHI for their continued support by advertising their renowned noise-cancelling products in "The Digest".
  • Chris and Don have a natter with Tony G2NF and Andy 5Z4VJ/G3AB. We discovered that Andy's father, the original G3AB, was good friends with Chris's mentor, Francis G3IVG in the late 1960s. Small world!
