Has anyone got a tri-bander surplus to requirements please?

Preferably something that works but is in need of a good home for a moderate price.

    Thinking 3 (or 4) ele, maybe TH3, TA33 etc.

Happy to collect in the Surrey area or will be travelling to Manchester and Newcastle in the next couple of weeks.

    Thanks

    John G4IRN.

    Hello John,

I have a TH3 with stainless hardware some of which has already been fitted. It has been stored in my barn for some years. The boom has been replaced at some stage as it is one piece of tubing. It was working when dismantled. Looking for about £150.

Located Leicestershire about 15 minutes from the M1.

I have a very sturdy Optibeam 5 band 13 to 30MHz log periodic for sale, somewhat bigger and more expensive than you are looking for.  Kept in warm, dry storage in Ripon, North Yorkshire.  All bits are stainless and operated flawlessly till it was taken down.  No traps, no moving parts.  Needs a fairly big rotator, so it's somewhat more of an investment.  Better performance and lighter weight than a 3 element Steppir, in my opinion.
