CDXC Annual Dinner

For many years a highlight of the CDXC year has been the Annual Dinner, normally held in March. Typically, 50+ members meet for an evening of good food, good conversation and perhaps just a little good wine etc.

In 2008 the dinner was on Saturday March 15 at the Wyboston Lakes Conference Centre in Bedfordshire. This is a terrific venue which has also become the location for the RSGB HF Convention in October. Members enjoyed an excellent dinner and were regaled afterwards by Roger Western, G3SXW, who recounted a stirring tale of daring-do, entitled, "Seven Kilowatts in the Dark Continent", aka the story of the Voodoo Contest Group's adventures in West Africa during the CQWW Contest of 2007.
