CDXC Awards

The Club makes a number of operating awards to recognise achievement in various dx-ing areas:

• 'Local Heroes Award' for dx operators resident in 'rare' locations

• CDXC LF Challenge - an annual competition for members on the 160, 80 and 40m bands

• CDXC Cup for the leading single operator UK entrant in the CQ WW Phone Contest

• CDXC Plaques for CDXC members' performance in the CQWW contest

• Geoff Watts Memorial Trophy for the leading island home station in the RSGB IOTA Contest

• Award of Merit Programme for outstanding and unselfish contributions to amateur radio and dx-ing

The awards programmes are managed for the CDXC by Jim Kellaway G3RTE
